This policy explains how La Colmena Tecnológica, S.L. processes personal data used in the legacy subscriptions portal, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018.

Data processed and its source
We process identification and contact details, account access data, previously supplied billing information, subscription and transaction history, payment gateway identifiers and technical security data. Passwords are stored in encrypted form and we do not store complete card details.
The data comes from the contractual relationship with the customer, the former website, MemberPress and, where required to reconcile renewals or cancellations, Stripe or PayPal.
Purposes and legal bases
- Authenticating users and maintaining accounts: performance of the contract and legitimate interest in providing secure access.
- Viewing, renewing or cancelling legacy subscriptions: performance of the contractual relationship (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Handling enquiries and incidents: performance of the contract or legitimate interest.
- Meeting tax, accounting and legal obligations: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Preventing fraud and unauthorised access: legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This portal does not use account data to make new sales. Marketing communications, where applicable, are managed through separate channels and legal bases.
Recipients and service providers
Data may be accessed, where necessary, by Hostinger as hosting provider, email and support providers, Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., which process payment information under their own policies. We do not disclose data to other third parties unless legally required. GDPR safeguards are applied to any international transfers.
Retention
Data is retained while the subscription or contractual relationship remains active and is then blocked for the periods required to comply with legal obligations and address potential liabilities. Technical logs are retained only for as long as necessary to secure the portal.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by writing to soporte@lacolmenatecnologica.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Security and changes
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted communications and access controls. This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes.
